This has been the most exciting week of the NFL so far. Not only did the games take place on Thursday and Sunday, but we have a thriller coming up tonight with the Saints taking on the Patriots at home(Saints at home). The week started off with the Lions going against the Packers. That was a special thanksgiving game, which the Lions lost(34-12), of course. Then the Cowboys took on the Oakland Raiders(Cowboys won 24-7). I don't understand why the Raiders were playing on Thanksgiving. It's already bad enough that we have to watch the Lions every year while we chow-down our turkey, but putting on the Raiders as well? Come on, now. The night's game on NFL Network featured a hapless Giants team taking on the reeling Broncos. The Broncos Won 26-6. Then the games on Sunday afternoon were as follows:
Tampa Bay-17
Atlanta-20
This one was back and forth, at one point I thought the Buccaneers might pull an upset.
Miami-14
Buffalo-31
The Bills finally did it.
Washington-24
Philadelphia-27
This game was a perfect example of how unpredictable the NFC East is.
Seattle-27
St. Louis-17
No surprise, MOVE ON!
Carolina-6
New York Jets-17
Who cares?
Cleveland-7
Cincinnati-16
The Bengals swept the AFC North with this one
Indianapolis-35
Houston-27
Can you believe that at one point in this game the score was 17-0 with the Texans on top? Peyton Manning showed why he might win the MVP award.
Kansas City-14
San Diego-43
Come on, did you think just because the chiefs beat the Steelers they would win this game too?
Jacksonville-3
San Francisco-20
49ers bounced back.
Chicago-10
Minnesota-36
The only reason I said Peyton "might" win the MVP is because I was considering #4 in Minnesota.
Arizona-17
Tennessee-20
Vince Young should've been playing from game one, that was an epic game winning drive.
Then the Sunday Night game was on. The classic AFC North rivalry between the Steelers and the Ravens was to be renewed. Did the Steelers continue their dominance against the Ravens? Yes, until in overtime when an interception was thrown by third stringer, Dennis Dixon, then it all crumbled.
Pittsburgh-17
Baltimore-20
Tonight, set your alarm clocks for Monday Night football. It's the Saints vs. the Patriots. I'm picking the Patriots. For one, the Saints' easy schedule is not a clear indication of how good they are. For two, Tom Brady is at least 3 times better than Drew Brees. WE SHALL SEE.
These are some highlights from some the most exciting games of week 12:
Titans vs. Cardinals:
Steelers vs. Ravens
Preview of Saints vs. Patriots:
ENJOY.
